FPR system is applicable at all stages of the road construction such as New Roads, Repairing Maintenance Hole & Catch Basin, Road Re-surfacing & Toping the existing surface.
General Questions

-
Is the FPR system only applicable on construction of new roads?
-
Is mortar & parging completely eliminated?
Yes, since traditional Parging cannot resist the dynamic traffic load and frost action, it is entirely eliminated from The FPR system and replaced with fully engineered connection that lasts for years.
-
Does FPR system uses any grade adjusting ring?
Most of the grade adjusting ring in the market are not engineered to resist the subjected dynamic load and we don't recommend.
-
Is it easy to level and slope the manhole or catch basin cover?
Yes, since the leveling bolts are accessible from the top, easily by turning the leveling bolt, the proper level & slop in 2 direction of the road is achieved with perfect accuracy.
-
How the FPR is respecting the Mother Nature force of heave?
All the existing systems place the Maintenance Hole Ring and Catch Basin Frame on top of the shaft or Catch Basin Box, which is not subjected to heave and doesn’t fluctuate with heave, so the cover sits on a fixed base, but in FPR system the system bears on the road base which is subjected to Heave and moves according to the road movement.
-
Has the FPR system been tested?
If testing is the proof that it works? Why are we using a Traditional practice that has been failing for a century? The FPR system is comprised of the several different engineered component that have been tested and is common approved practice. The FPR system uses the engineering standard and technics that have been proven.
-
What will be the top finish on the road with the FPR?
In the FPR system you can use both asphalt and concrete to match the road finish.
-
Does the FPR system eliminated the I/I problem?
Yes, unlike some other systems in the market that by making water tight system without any respect to Mother Nature’s Force of Heave Action, the result turns out to be water tight pothole. FPR floats in accordance with the road heave and the storm water flows toward the catch basin and by stopping the I/I, stabilize the road base.
